Welcome to the Ontario-Finger Lakes Beekeepers Association.
The Ontario-Finger Lakes Beekeepers Association performs many community projects around the Finger Lakes including Monroe County, Ontario County, Wayne County, Yates County and Livingstion County.
Just a few of the projects we are a part of in the community are:
- Beginner beekeeping classes
- Extractions in homes and buildings
- Resource for new beginner beekeepers
- Membership in the association
- Swarm Removal Referrences
- Extractions in homes and buildings referrences
- Put on the Geneva Bee Conference
Beginning Beekeeper Classes 2018
COST: $25 per household - includes a 1 year membership to our club and 1 copy of the book "Beekeeping Basics".
The course will be held on the following dates in 2018:
- Tuesday January 23rd
- Tuesday January 30th
- Tuesday February 13th
- Tuesday February 27th
- Tuesday March 13th
- Tuesday March 27th

All classes are held at the Cornell Cooperative Extension Building, 480 North Main Street, Canandaigua, NY, and will start as close to 6:30pm as possible and runs to 8:30pm or later.
Members from our club will be the lead teachers for the course with others doing some of the specialized presentations. The following is the general outline that will be followed:
2018 Geneva Bee Conference
The 2018 Geneva Bee Conference is put on by the Ontario-Finger Lakes Beekeepers Association. Dont miss Larry Connors and Several other speakers! We will continue doing a hot lunch offering and our evening social at a locial establishment!

Our monthly meetings are open to the public and are free to attend. We often have guest speakers at our meetings that cover a wide range of topics. They are held at 7pm the second Monday of every month at the Canandaigua VA Medical Center, Building 5 Auditorium, 400 Fort Hill Avenue Canandaigua, NY 14424. Club officers meet prior to the meeting to review club business, this is open to the general membership. All presenters and announcements must meet with club officers 15 minutes prior to the start of the meeting to review their message and approve it.
