Sam told us he saw snowy owls in Gorham. I saw one of them also, and my daughter took these pictures. We read about their range, and the snowy owls only come this far south when there is a shortage of lemmings further north. I am sure my neighbor was happy to share some of the rodents that live in his hay field.
